The french Python organisation, AFPY, has organised two days of Python talks, called “Journées Python Francophones“. Talks today included an introduction to Zope 3 by Jean-Philippe Camguilhem and a quick look on Grok by Kamon Ayeva of Ingeniweb. Also, if you find the Nabaztag to iMacish in design, and not open source enough, the Kysoh team demonstrated the Tux Droid, a similar type of device, but especially made for Linux, and of course therefore in the form of a Penguin.
Tomorrow looks even more interesting, especially with Tarek Ziadés talk on document-driven development. Encolpe Degoute will show Plone 3 and ArchgenXML as well, David Larlet will show Django.
